PHOTOS: Step Inside Disney World’s NEWEST Hotel!

A brand NEW hotel has opened in Disney World!

On November 3rd, 2021, the Walt Disney World Swan Reserve officially welcomed guests for the first time after having delayed its grand opening a few times. And, with its doors open, we’re taking you along with us for the official opening ceremony and a look inside!

The Swan Reserve is the newest Disney Good Neighbor Hotel. It is located on Disney property near the Walt Disney World Swan & Dolphin and is designed to be a “boutique setting” hotel.

We stopped by this morning to watch as Mickey and Minnie helped welcome the resort to Disney World during the ribbon-cutting ceremony…

…and the opening ceremony!

While we were there, we even got to try one of the hotel’s signature new drinks — the Reserve Juice, which is made with turmeric, orange, carrot, and lemon.

And, then it was time to look around! While Disney doesn’t own the Swan Reserve, there are still plenty of details to remind you that you’re in “the most magical place on earth.” For example, when you first enter, you’ll find directions up to the lobby reception area near small silver statues of Mickey and Minnie.

Plus, guests who stay here will have access to all of the Walt Disney World Swan & Dolphin amenities in addition to Disney amenities like Early Theme Park Entry, Extended Evening Hours, and more. And, you can even use Marriot points to stay here!

The theming of the resort is “citrus,” so you’ll find subtle reminders of the Florida fruit in color palettes, decorations, and restaurant names.

Speaking of restaurants, guests who are staying here can enjoy FOUR new dining locations including Stir (which is a bar located in the lobby)…

…Tangerine (which is a pool bar)…

…Amare (which is a new signature restaurant that serves Mediterranean-style meals for lunch and dinner)…

…and Grounds Craft Coffee and More.

When it comes to the guest rooms, there are 349 total with 151 of those being suites. We’ve already brought you a sneak peek inside the rooms, but today we got to see inside a Junior Suite (which is considered a middle tiered room).

When you first step inside the room, you’ll find a small sitting area that includes a big couch, chair, and tv.

And, through another door is the main bedroom!

This is also where you’ll find a closet to hang any of your clothes (plus a robe that you can wear during your stay)…

…and the bathroom which has a walk-in shower and additional storage space under the sink.

Plus, depending on what floor the room is located on, it’s got a pretty nice view too!
