Disneyland’s “it’s a small world” Holiday Overlay DELAYED Due to Flooding

Due to a variety of unexpected circumstances, we’ve seen a lot of temporary ride closures in the Disney parks.

We’ve seen rides go down for weather, power outages, and even sometimes for interferences from wildlife. And today, a very popular ride is closed at Disneyland due to flooding!

Each year, “it’s a small world” at Disneyland Park undergoes a seasonal transformation for the holidays. That holiday overlay was supposed to premiere tonight at the Merriest Nites event, but The Orange County Register reports that the ride is closed due to flooding.

Flooding in the early morning hours of November 10th affected some of the ride’s machinery, causing it to remain closed today as crews work to fix the problem. There’s no further information on when the ride may be operational again, but we’ll give you details as soon as we get them.
