We’ve seen a few monorails getting colorful makeovers over the last few months.
Today, we got to ride on another newly re-done monorail on our way back from the Magic Kingdom. We took plenty of photos so you can see all the updates too!
For the first time in a while, we took the Gold Monorail today! Like the other monorail makeovers, there was a freshly painted stripe on the outside, but of course this one was in gold.
Once inside, we saw that it had the same brightly colored decorations on the walls above the benches.
The new walls let you know which Monorail you’re riding both with the colors and the words “Monorail GOLD.”
All around the words are a pattern of an old-style Disney letter “D.” And in the rest of the interior, there’s a thin gold stripe on the ceiling…
…and new signs above the doors.
So next time you’re asked to “please stand clear of the doors,” you can check out some of the updates on Disney’s Monorail fleet!
