In about a week, Disney California Adventure will open up to the public (minus its rides) for the first time since Disneyland Resort closed last year!
A ticketed event called A Touch of Disney will take over the park and give guests a chance to once more indulge in their favorite Disneyland foods, see characters, shop, and more.
And while that event is happening, Downtown Disney will be open a little later than normal. Regular operating hours are from 10AM to 8PM, but when we looked at Disney’s website, we noticed some longer hours! March 18th, 19th, 22nd, 25th, 26th, and 29th have hours from 10AM to 9PM.
But look at little closer, because some days have a whole 12 hours of opening time from 9AM to 9PM — March 20th, 21st, 27th, and 28th. It’s been a hot minute since we’ve seen Downtown Disney open for so long on any given day! Disney generally extends hours when it expects crowds, and considering how much demand there was for A Touch of Disney tickets, the company is probably expecting Downtown Disney to be just as busy!
