A Dining Location Has Reopened at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort!

Recently, we’ve seen several dining locations reopen in Disney World.

Just this week, Tomorrowland Terrace reopened with a familiar but exciting menu, and a few weeks ago Woody’s Lunch Box reopened at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Now, a resort dining location is getting in on the reopening action!

El Mercado de Coronado officially reopened today at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort! Several of the same health and safety measures from other locations were in place on our visit. There is a specific entrance and exit to the restaurant to help traffic flow.

There is also plenty of seating and tables were very clean and spaced out. Tables are cleaned by Cast Members are being used.

As soon as you enter, there is a line of floor markers that take you on a one-way path through the restaurant.

The restaurant is serving up hot grab-and-go items like chicken tenders and pizza, as well as cold grab-and-go items like sandwiches and salads.

The area was super empty while we were there, but the distancing markers and spread out tables are reassuring for when this place does get busy! This location is currently open at 7AM to 12:30PM for breakfast, and 4:30PM to 10PM for dinner daily.

It’s exciting when restaurants reopen, and although it’s a dining location that is grab-and-go only, this is a quick and easy option for people visiting the resort! We will continue to keep you updated on the latest Disney news.
