Ever since Disney Springs reopened in May, we’ve seen some changes to the area.

Not only were there distanced floor markers and mask requirements, but several stores introduced a new virtual line system. And now, this system has been upgraded at one of Disney’s biggest shops!
Previously, guests would have to walk all the way to World of Disney and sign up with a Cast Member to get on the virtual queue. Now, you can scan a QR code and join from that link from these signs all over Disney Springs!

Once you scan the code, guests first choose the size of their party and are told how many parties are ahead of them.

Next, guests will type in their information including their name, and phone number.

After hitting continue, you will have a chance to review and confirm your visit to World of Disney! Then you are notified by text that you are confirmed.

Everything seems the same after that. Guests will receive a text once it is their turn to shop! This may be a slight change but it makes a huge difference not having to walk all the way to the store just to join the line! We will continue to keep you updated as things change in Disney World!

Just curious, once you receive the “time to shop” text, how long do you have to get back to the store?
Does Disney not realize that everyone does not have a smartphone. Or has wisely left it home so that they can enjoy their vacation.
Do you have a window of time to arrive in case you are in the other side of Disney Springs?
