BREAKING NEWS! Disney Announces a Price Increase for Disney+

Today is the Walt Disney Company’s Virtual Investor Day, and they’re dropping news bombs left and right!

We’re learning a lot about the future of the company as a whole, including more details on Disney shifting their focus to streaming. We’re getting more information on upcoming film projects, and learning more about just how successful Disney+ has been. And it’s that very success that has driven Disney to make a change in their pricing! 

During today’s presentation {insert person’s name} announced that Disney+ would be getting a price increase! The streaming service previously cost only $6.99/month, but will be increased to $7.99 starting in March 2021.

Along with news of the price increase, Disney announced a slew of new content coming to the service, including WandaVision, new Star Wars shows, and Raya and the Last Dragon.

Disney+ is currently one of the less expensive options for streaming services, so we had a feeling that a price increase would be coming some time in the future.
