Calling all Disney dessert fans! We’ve got some breaking bread pudding news you’re gonna want to know about.

One of the most deliciously decadent desserts in all of Disney World is back…with a catch. But fear not, because we’ve got the inside scoop on the “secret” return of the ‘Ohana Bread Pudding!

Picture this: soft, fluffy pineapple bread immersed in custard, slathered in Bananas Foster Sauce, and melting with a softball-sized scoop of vanilla ice cream. The ‘Ohana Bread Pudding, beloved and famed at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, has long reigned as one of the ultimate desserts in Disney World.

But alas, when it was removed from the menu, we were relegated to replicating it as best we could at home.

And don’t get us wrong, we love recreating Disney recipes! But it’s missing the magic that comes with eating bread pudding in the actual restaurant.

Well, it’s an early Christmas miracle, because the ‘Ohana Bread Pudding has discreetly popped back up at Kona Cafe! That’s right, this is not a drill!

There’s a caveat, though, because the dessert is actually not on the menu. It’s available upon request for lunch and dinner for $12 while supplies last for the day.

Once we got this game-changing tip, we confirmed with a Cast Member, who informed us that the chef only makes so much bread pudding for the day, so it can indeed sell out.

It was also suggested that diners call Kona Cafe ahead of time to confirm availability, just in case this little treat goes away. It’s happened before, after all… . And try to dine for lunch instead of dinner to give yourself the best possible chance of getting a serving!
