Walt Disney World is crammed full of rides, from the humble Prince Charming Carrousel to the technical spectacle that is Rise of the Resistance. It’s hard to pick a favorite!

That’s why we’ve turned to you, our readers, for guidance! Here are the number one rides in each park, as chosen by you!
As always, these ratings are influenced by AllEars readers and are entirely dependent on the rankings during writing. If you disagree with any of these ratings, then go and make your voice heard in our reviews section! It’s democracy in action!
Magic Kingdom: Splash Mountain

Splash Mountain is the most unusual member of Disney’s mountain range. It’s the only one based on a film (currently Song of the South, though The Princess and the Frog is set to take its place in the near future). However, the big draw here is the experience. Splash Mountain is a combination dark ride and log flume, a combination that has since been replicated around the world. The colorful animatronics and catchy music will draw you into the experience, leading to the climactic drop into the briar patch! Be sure to smile for the cameras!

We admit we’ll be sad to lose the ear worm that is Zip-A-Dee-Do-Dah, but I think the music of Princess and the Frog is definitely a fair trade. We can’t wait to hear that New Orleans jazz when the ride completes its renovation!

EPCOT: Soarin’

Originally called Soarin’ Over California, this west coast export came to EPCOT as part of Disneyland’s 50th anniversary celebration! Four attractions from other Disney Parks (including Cinderellabration from Tokyo Disneyland, Lights, Motors, Action! Extreme Stunt Show from Disneyland Paris, and Lucky the Dinosaur from Hong Kong Disneyland) were brought to Walt Disney World as part of the Happiest Celebration on Earth. While the other attractions have fallen to the wayside (even in their native parks), Soarin’ has flourished! Versions of the ride can be found in Shanghai and Tokyo, and the Epcot version has become iconic enough to deserve a place in the Epcot Forever fireworks show! Our readers rank this ride as immersive and thrilling, yet gentle enough for those uncomfortable with more intense rides.
Hollywood Studios: The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror

The Tower of Terror is another Disney attraction that’s seen exports around the world. Disneyland, Disneyland Paris, and Tokyo Disneyland all have their own version of this attraction, but none can compare with the ambitious original.

The Tower of Terror features a unique dark ride system that lifts guests through multiple show scenes, culminating with your elevator lurching out of the shaft and pushing you through the Fifth Dimension. When you finally emerge into the darkness of the drop shaft, you’re sent on an unpredictable plummet… straight into the Twilight Zone. Top-notch theming and high octane thrills propel this ride straight to the top… and the bottom… and the top again, and… you get it.
Animal Kingdom: Expedition Everest

AllEars readers are giant fans of Animal Kingdom’s Expedition Everest — and I happen to think it’s the best coaster at Walt Disney World. It’s a perfect combination of thrills and story and lasts long enough for you to savor the experience. Sure, the yeti doesn’t work as intended, but does that really matter? When you hit that broken rail at the very top and know that you’re about to get sent flying backward, is that a thrill you can really top?
