These Are the Dining Options Reopening with Disney’s Aulani Resort!

After closing in March, Aulani, A Disney Resort and Spa is reopening on November 1st, 2020.

The resort will open with enhanced health and safety protocols that we’ve seen at Walt Disney World and Downtown Disney in Anaheim. Reduced contact between guests and Cast Members, physical distancing, and increased sanitation to high-touch areas are just a few ways Disney will encourage the protocols. There will also be limited access to amenities and restricted dining options as the hotel operates at a smaller capacity.  Let’s take a look at Aulani’s upcoming available restaurants as well as changes coming to the dining experiences!

Upon opening, select restaurants will require dining reservations and be limited to Resort Guests only. Face masks are required for guests ages 2 and up in all public areas, except when actively eating or drinking while remaining stationary. This includes entering and exiting restaurants.

Temperature screenings are required before entering the restaurants and the frequency of cleaning high-traffic areas will be increased. Reduced contact will be implemented through digital menus and cashless payment is encouraged. To reduce cash handling, guests can use debit/credit cards, mobile wallets, or purchase Disney Gift Cards at home or at the resort.

Self-serve dining stations, including refillable mugs, will be suspended for the time being.
