Just this afternoon, central Florida reporters got a first look at safety and health protocols in place in Walt Disney World’s Disney Springs ahead of the shopping, dining, and entertainment district’s reopening tomorrow, May 20, 2020.

And now we know what hours the Springs will be welcoming guests in the beginning of its phased reopening. While prior to Disney Springs’ unprecedented closure store and restaurant hours varied by establishment, Disney Springs’ official website lists reopening hours as 10AM to 10PM.

Disney Springs will reopen with limited third-party-operated restaurants and shops on Wednesday, May 20. Disney-owned stores and restaurants will begin reopening on May 27. Protocols for the reopening include entrances limited to four locations, required masks for guests three and older, and increased cleaning and sanitation measures. Disney Springs will also use cast members as cheerful greeters whose role it is to be sure guests understand protocols.
