One of the most highly anticipated components of Star Wars Day, aka “May the Fourth”, is the awesome limited-edition merchandise. With the latest Her Universe Minnie Ears selling out almost instantly, the demand has certainly been high for the latest and greatest swag from a galaxy far, far away.
With all of this demand, shopDisney is actually experiencing technical difficulties!
It appears as though shoppers are running into issues throughout the online shopping process, whether that’s experiencing difficulty accessing the items in the first place to checking out at the end of the process. shopDisney has released a statement via Twitter letting customers know that they are aware of the current situation.
In preparation for today, Disney implemented a virtual waiting room system on the site to help lessen the web traffic strain, however the system still seems to be overwhelmed with fans eager to get the newest merch. Hopefully the issue is resolved and we can all shop ’til we drop soon! May the force be with you!

Yes, my daughter and I had put the merchandise in our bag which took forever and checking out was impossible. It took us 2 minutes to shop to get what we wanted and hours for it to process and of course we were not able to buy anything… NOT FAIR AND VERY FRUSTRATING…
