The final week of the year is the busiest time for every Disney Theme Park, but Disneyland Park in Anaheim is being hit particularly hard. Thanks to the double whammy of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and general holiday crowds, the park has officially reached capacity on December 27th.

Find out what this means for your vacation plans and more below.
Disneyland has multiple tiers of capacity. Currently, its sitting at tier one. This means that tickets will not be sold until the crowds die down for the day.

Disney California Adventure tickets remain available as normal. In addition, guests with existing tickets (including multi-day tickets and annual passes) will be allowed access. If numbers increase, Disneyland may resort to turning away additional guests regardless of their ticket status.
In the event you are turned away despite having a valid ticket, you can contact a cast member at Guest Relations for assistance. However, it’s unlikely you will be admitted into the park due to safety concerns.
It is likely that crowd levels will remain elevated through the New Year. If you’re hoping to guarantee a spot in the park, consider purchasing a ticket in advanced and arriving before rope drop at around 8AM.
For Florida vacation goers, while crowds at Walt Disney World are elevated, we have not received word of the parks reaching capacity. Stay tuned to All Ears for more updates on this situation as it develops.
