You can’t think about Darth Vader without making his mask noises (obviously!), but Vader’s legacy runs much deeper in Star Wars history than what viewers have seen in the franchise.

The Vader Immortal series, a VR experience by ILMxLAB and Lucas Studios, has given fans the ability to step into the Dark Side, but now the story must come to an end.
The first details on Vader Immortal: Episode III, the epic conclusion to the virtual reality game, have been released!

The story of Vader Immortal takes place between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope. It also directly relates to plots straight out of the Star Wars: Secrets of the Empire game, also produced by ILMxLAB.

The third episode will makes its way to the Oculus Quest and Rift headsets starting November 21st. Players will finally be able to put the life of their Force-sensitive smuggler character on the line as they lead an attack on Vader’s castle. Although you might have discovered the villainous plans of the Dark Side, you’ll still have to fight stormtroopers, an Imperial officer, and even Darth Vader to save Mustafar.

In the past, players have been able to wield a lightsaber and the Force. But, Episode III will give them the opportunity to use Imperial blasters and thermal detonators like never before. (UM, AWESOME!)

Featuring voice talents like Maya Rudolph as ZO-E3 the droid and Scott Lawrence as Darth Vader and creators like writer David S. Goyer and director Ben Snow, Vader Immortal: Episode III is bound to be an INCREDIBLE end to the series.

All good things must come to an end (and this game was GREAT).
