Just Announced: Filming Dates for Disney World's Holiday Specials

The holiday season is inching closer and behind the scenes preparations are in full swing for Disney’s holiday celebrations!

Every year, ABC and the Disney Channel air televised holiday specials taped in the parks that are hosted by, and feature, A-list celebrities. The specials air in November and December. Now, the filming dates have been announced for the 2019 specials.

Filming for the Disney Channel and ABC holiday specials will take place next month on November 7, 9, and 10. The filming will include musical performances and other stage show elements in Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios.

There are no times announced for the filming, and dates are subject to change, however if you are in the park during filming you’re welcome to watch! We’ve also yet to hear about Disneyland filming dates.

Some filming, though, will likely happen before or after park hours. These events are only available to cast members and their guests. The hosts and performers also haven’t been announced yet, but we’re sure to see some recognizable celebrities!
