Disney World Files 4 NEW Permits for EPCOT Pavilions, Magic Kingdom, and More

If you’ve been to Disney World in recent years, you’ve probably seen a LOT of construction walls.

There have been construction projects and refurbishments left, right, and center in Disney World, and they’re not done yet! We just got a fresh wave of construction permits filed, and we’re here to break them down.

A number of electrical work permits have been filed recently with some interesting locations. Starting the list is one with an address directly behind Be Our Guest Restaurant in Magic Kingdom. This is a heavy-use backstage area, including a space for fireworks launching.

Next, we’re heading to EPCOT for some electrical work upgrades in the France Pavilion. This is one of the park’s most popular World Showcase pavilions, with multiple restaurants, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, and two short theater shows.

We’ve also got a new permit for electrical work in Toy Story Land. This land is home to a plethora of lights (even giant Christmas lights strung throughout Andy’s backyard) and three rides, so it makes sense that it’s time for an electrical touch-up.

The last permit we’ve got for you is a Notice of Commencement for electrical work in the UK Pavilion. No rides in this land, but several shops and some popular dining means they’ve got to keep things in ship-shape.

Those are all the permits we have today, but we’ll be on the lookout for more in the near future.
