CONFIRMED: Disney Springs Announces What’s Coming to Empty Building

We’ll admit that we were a little surprised when Sprinkles Cupcakes closed down suddenly in Disney World. We’d heard speculation about it closing, but it was still surprising to see the building in Disney Springs so quickly abandoned. Goodbye, Cupcake ATM.

However, the building won’t remain empty for long. Something else is coming in its place…something that will still satisfy your sweet tooth.

We recently learned that a pop-up location for Black Tap CrazyShakes would be taking over the space previously occupied by Sprinkles. We’ve visited the Black Tap Craft Burgers and Shakes in Downtown Disney in Disneyland many times, but this location will be exclusively dedicated to CrazyShakes, which are over-the-top milkshakes with loads of extra flavors and toppings.

The pop-up CrazyShakes will move into the location on March 2nd and will be serving its shakes, including the viral Mickey shake, for 90 days. This will be the first time you’ll be able to get that Mickey shake on the East Coast, so you’ll want to make a note to visit Disney Springs for that.

Here’s a full list of the CrazyShakes you’ll be able to order at this location:

  • Bam Bam Shake
  • The Cookie Shake
  • Cookies ‘n’ Cream Supreme
  • Brooklyn Blackout
  • Special Edition Mickey CrazyShake

All shakes will be served in to-go cups, so you’ll be able to sip on your favorite flavors while you shop your way around Disney Springs.

We’re not sure what will happen after 90 days. Perhaps if the CrazyShakes are popular, this location might remain open. We’ll be keeping an eye out for more details, so check back with AllEars again soon for more.
