We love the holiday season in Disney World for many reasons — Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, Jollywood Nights, and all the decorations, of course, but one of our FAVORITE parts of the season is all the new snacks!

We headed over to Disney Springs to check out the ELEVEN new holiday snacks that have debuted so far, and we have to admit that while we loved ten of them, there’s one of them that we wouldn’t get again!
At Jock Lindsey’s Holiday Hangar Bar, we tried FOUR of the special holiday menu items. Starting out strong, we had the A Wreath of Wellington, which is Strip steak, mushroom duxelles, Gruyère, puff pastry, herbed parmesan, and horseradish-mustard aïoli for $19.

We were impressed by how much meat was in these and how well they stayed together! The horseradish sauce is the perfect accompaniment, as it’s creamy and tangy without being over the top. The cheese in the pastry itself has that lovely crunchy texture you get when you bake cheese, and we loved the juiciness and tanginess that the pepper added. If you’re not a fan of the usual soggy texture of Beef Wellington but love the flavor, this will be a big hit for you!

You can also grab the Boughs of Holly Deviled Eggs, which are deviled eggs with sweet potato filling, fried chicken, herbed butter, cranberry, and parsley for $17.

We enjoyed the flavor of these, and the fact that the chicken on top was crispy on the outside and juicy inside, but these did NOT stay together. The filling is also supposed to be a sweet potato, but it tastes like garlic butter and egg yolk whipped together and put on top. The egg on the bottom was tender and held up to the ingredients on top, but we do warn you that there is a bit of a kick here due to the seasoning. Overall, if you enjoy devilled eggs, this is certainly a great one to try!

The Turkey Egg Rolls are also on the menu for $16, which are Turkey egg rolls with sweet-and-sour cranberry dipping sauce.

These are like Thanksgiving dinner in an eggroll, and we loved it! They’re nice and crunchy on the outside, and the filling tastes like a Thanksgiving dinner with juicy turkey and stuffing. The cranberry sauce is very sweet with a hint of orange. The texture here is fantastic, and we couldn’t ask for anything more — if you often love the flavors of Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner, this is an option you can’t miss!

The last offering here is a dessert — the Cookies with Eggnog is $27 for Eggnog with Siesta Key Spiced Rum served with Tree Sugar Cookie, Snickerdoodle Swirl Cookie, and Chocolate-Peppermint Cookie.

The Eggnog made it easy to taste the alcohol, but not in a bad way. It’s smooth, milky, cinnamon-forward, and has a bit of heat in the background, but it’s not overwhelming.

The Swirl Cookie is your traditional sugar cookie, although it was listed as a “Snickerdoodle Swirl Cookie.” It’s doughy in the middle while having a slight crisp and crunch on the outside, which we really enjoyed. It’s not anything special, but it didn’t let us down either!

The Christmas Tree Cookie is also a very traditional sugar cookie, but this one has lots of icing. It’ll stain your hands and teeth green, but we appreciate that it’s got a slightly harder outer shell, and is still soft and fluffy once you get past that outer layer.

The final cookie is a Chocolate Peppermint Cookie, which, to us, tasted like an Andes mint or like a peppermint Patty. It doesn’t taste exactly like toothpaste, but it’s pretty close. It’s got a chewier consistency, so if you like harder cookies, keep that in mind!

Swirls on the Water has three holiday offerings available right now for the holidays, starting with the Mickey Gingerbread Cone, which is a gingerbread cone with chocolate soft-serve, DOLE Whip pomegranate, holiday sprinkles, and gingerbread Mickey for $7.49.

These flavors worked together way better than we thought! The chocolate is creamy with a light chocolate flavor, while the pomegranate is more icy and has a bit of tartness. The gingerbread on top was soft and easy to bite through with that classic gingerbread flavor, and while we’re not totally sure if it complemented the other flavors, it looked adorable!

You can also grab the Tropical Holiday Tree Sundae for $7.29, which is a Waffle Bowl with DOLE Whip® Lime, Coconut Soft-serve, Sugar Tree Lights, Graham Cracker Crumbs, and Sugar Piece.

The lime DOLE Whip was classic in the best way — super smooth, bright, acidic but not overwhelmingly tart. It has a great balance, especially with the coconut mixed in. The sugar lights on the side are crunchy and super sugary, adding a great texture, and we loved that the bowl is a traditional waffle bowl that held up really well and holds a great amount of soft serve!

The DOLE Whip Sampler is also available for $8.99, which includes:
- DOLE Whip® Pineapple swirled with Vanilla Soft-serve and Fresh Pineapple Wedge
- DOLE Whip® Pomegranate swirled with Chocolate Soft-serve and Holiday Sprinkles
- DOLE Whip® Lime swirled with Coconut Soft-serve with Graham Cracker and Toasted Coconut Flakes

The Pineapple and Vanilla Swirl is classic for a reason! It’s refreshing, creamy, sweet, with that bit of tartness from the pineapple.

The DOLE Whip® Pomegranate swirled with Chocolate Soft-serve works together beautifully. You get the sweetness and creaminess from the chocolate, combined with the more icy, fruity, and slightly tart flavor from the pomegranate, and it’s just magical!

Finally, the DOLE Whip® Lime swirled with Coconut Soft-serve is like key lime pie in a cup in the best way. The flavor combination feels super tropical, and the graham crackers and toasted coconut added a wonderful texture that blended beautifully.

We also tried three treats over at Amorette’s Patisserie, and all of them are stunning, as expected! The Christmas Present Cake Bar is $8.75 and is Gingerbread Cake combined with Milk Chocolate Mousse and Caramel Crispy Pearls.

While we don’t taste the chocolate much in here, it makes the cake super moist in the best way. The gingerbread isn’t overwhelming, but it is just enough to let you know it’s a prominent flavor, and we loved that the crispy pearls were almost like pretzels, adding a bit of saltiness to the treat. We’d totally get it again!

Next up was the Butterscotch Christmas Candy for $8.50, which is Butterscotch Mousse, Brown Butter Cake, Salted Caramel Crispy Pearls.

Unfortunately, the texture here isn’t great. The mousse itself is light and airy, but the top has a gelatin-like texture that doesn’t blend well with the dry cake at the bottom. We enjoyed the flavor, but the texture just took it down many notches.

The final snack here is a Snowman Pastry, which is cookies and cream mousse, chocolate brownie, and dark chocolate crispy pearls.

This little guy is ADORABLE, but the cookies and cream mousse on the top is a bit on the thicker side, and tastes a bit more like hot chocolate to us than cookies and cream. Unfortunately, the cake on the bottom isn’t the best texture, but the mousse does make that a bit better. It’s not the best, but also not the worst!

We also hopped over to Vivoli il Gelato to grab their Peppermint Affogato for $11, which is Vanilla gelato, espresso, and crushed peppermint.

This reminded us of coffee ice cream, because the coffee itself is very creamy and not bitter at all. The gelato itself is smooth and not overly icy, and the crushed peppermint was just the right size to not get stuck in your teeth or overwhelm you with peppermint. If you enjoy coffee and peppermint, this is absolutely something to check out, but even if you’re not a coffee fan, you won’t find it overwhelmingly coffee-forward.
