This Magic Kingdom Restaurant Gets Near-Perfect Reviews

Ah, Magic Kingdom. We love you for many reasons — your magic, your nostalgia, but unfortunately, very rarely your food.

While lots of the snacks at Magic Kingdom are pretty amazing, Dole Whip and Spring Rolls, to name just a few, a lot of the actual meals leave a lot to be desired. That goes for both table service restaurants AND quick service restaurants, unfortunately, BUT there’s one restaurant that gets nearly perfect reviews from both us, and our readers, and we bet you know EXACTLY what it is.

Over in Liberty Square, there’s only one attraction to explore now that the Liberty Square Riverboat has closed (Hall of Presidents is still there to provide you with some fantastic AC though!). But this is where you’ll find what we, and our readers, think is the BEST restaurant in Magic Kingdom — Columbia Harbour House!

We rave about this one all the time, but it’s for a reason — it rarely lets us down! We were upset back in June 2024 when the hush puppies were removed from the menu, but then the internet literally rioted (we may have had a *little* something to do with that), and they were back on the menu in July 2024. This is a nautical themed restaurant that has a pretty expansive menu. Seafood lovers will find items on the menu here they’ll love, but there are also plenty of options that non-seafood fans can choose from too.

Even the classic Disney chicken tenders here seem to be some of the best quick service ones on property, and we don’t know by what magic that is, but we’re not exactly here to complain about it. Here’s the thing though — what we really love about this restaurant? It’s consistent. And we know a lot of you feel the same way too, if the reviews from our readers on our website are anything to go by! A recent review by reader LisaLLJ said,

“They have some unique items but mostly typical theme park food. The food hits when you need some deep fried goodness.”

One of the big highlights here for us, and for a lot of you, it seems, is the Lobster Roll. AllEars reader shageek77 said it perfectly when they said,

“We were pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. The upstairs is the place to sit and watch MK from above. We got the lobster roll, truffle fries and a seasonal holiday gingerbread cake. Our lobster roll was filled with plenty of lobster. The lobster was fresh tasting and had just the right amount of slaw/mayo.“

We couldn’t agree more about the best seating being upstairs — that is for sure the truth as well, but we do warn you that during peak meal times, it can be hard to find a place to sit, so be sure to Mobile Order to save some time, and pack your patience while you look for a seat.

Let us put it this way — when the AllEars YouTube team has finished a long morning of filming and needs to pause for lunch in Magic Kingdom, do you know where we’ve stopped NUMEROUS times? Yep, Columbia Harbour House! This goes for big days with the whole team, as well as smaller filming days with just 2-3 members — I’ve even personally met Breedlove here while he was on his lunch break to chat for a bit. Many of us choose to eat here even when we have the entirety of Magic Kingdom restaurants to decide between. In a way, we have so many positive feelings about this spot, it’s hard to put into words, so we’ll just let this Anonymous AllEars reviewer do the talking with their review, because we couldn’t agree more:

“If I were on a longer trip, I can see myself eating here multiple times because finding a good quick-service meal that’s filling and refreshing rather than heavy is tough.”
