As an American, I Felt Hilariously Burned By This Disneyland Paris Ride

There is nothing quite like Disneyland Paris!

Me in Disneyland Paris!

During our recent trip to the European theme park, we tested out tons of attractions, snacks, restaurants, and more! There were tons of memorable moments, but one ride in particular burned us in the funniest way possible!

There are so many things to see and do in Disneyland Paris! From drinking champagne on Main Street to checking out the construction on new lands, we were busy during our stop at the park. One thing we love to do when we travel to different Disney parks is try out different versions of classic rides! One ride in particular that the girls and I were obsessed with was “it’s a small world.”

“it’s a small world”

This attraction has a similar storyline to other versions of this attraction. You get to set sail through different scenes that depict different locations and cultures, helping to remind us it really is a small world after all. This truly iconic Disney attraction has slight differences in every version of the ride, but Disneyland Paris’s version has one scene that actually knocked us off our feet!

The outside of it’s a small world!

If you’ve never seen the America section of “it’s a small world,” buckle up! On the iconic ride, you really get to see how our country is depicted, and we are obsessed. First, we passed several cati, cowbodys, and even a saloon and covered wagon. Ah, home sweet home!

The covered wagon!

Next, you run into large, sweeping farm lands complete with ears of corn, a barn, and a wagon of hay being pulled by an adorable horse.

The great frontier!

Next, you go straight into the big city, complete with skyscrapers, the Statue of Liberty, and the Golden Gate Bridge! Yellow taxis even drive back and forth across the bridge.

The America section!

Before you cross underneath the bridge, you also pass a gigantic sailing ship! For some reason, this really made me giggle because I know our history, but I never think of “boats” when I think of American culture.

Boats!

Near the end of the scene, we also passed a small stadium with two dolls dressed as a football player and a baseball player. Americans = Sports! (This isn’t even a joke, I totally agree that we’re sports-obsessed.)

SPORTS!

Finally, you pass under a large Hollywood sign complete with dancers and actors. America can be summed up into covered wagons, farms, boats, sports, and Hollywood! We seriously loved how sweet and colorful our section of the ride was, and in a weird way it made me miss home.

That’s Hollywood, baby!

We all three loved the ride, and it left us wondering what people from other countries think of how they are depicted, too! If you want to see the ride in motion, watch our video here!

This was a genuine highlight of our trip, and we will be thinking about it constantly! As always, be sure to keep following AllEars for more Disney tips, tricks, and more around the world.

I Never Thought I Would Try This at Disneyland Paris, But It Made My Day 10x Better
