We Knew This Disney Change Was Coming, But It Still Feels TOO SOON

The first signs of Christmas are coming to Disneyland!

Disneyland

A Christmas merchandise collection is already on the shelves, a new holiday character dining is heading to the hotels, and so much more is happening around the resort. During our recent visit to the park, the biggest sign that Christmas is drawing near has appeared!

Everyone, remain calm! Snow is appearing in Disneyland! Sure, it might still be in the mid-80s in Anaheim, but that doesn’t mean we won’t spot some snow-covered peaks on Sleeping Beauty Castle.

The snow has arrived!

If you aren’t familiar with Disneyland’s Christmas decorations, the snow-covered castle is one of the sweet parts of the holidays in the park. These decorations are one of the largest signs that the colder weather season is “blowing in” along with tons of holiday-specific costumes, snacks, and more.

Snow from 2024

While only part of the castle has that bit of snow, it’s still enough to get us excited for everything that’s coming up. You might be thinking it’s too soon, but October tends to be the month when snow appears each year. Not only will we see snow, but you can also expect Wintertime Enchantment at Sleeping Beauty’s Winter Castle!

It’s just a little bit!

This display is back once again in 2025, and it features 80,000 lights! It’s the moment that the iconic castle transforms into a snowy, sparkling version of itself. There is nothing quite like this display!

Disney has confirmed quite a few things coming to the resort for the 2025 holiday season, like Mickey, Minnie, and their friends in their holiday best! Their new outfit designs will have a holiday look paired with their 70th Celebration looks.

The breathtaking “Believe…In Holiday Magic” fireworks nighttime spectacular is also returning! Not only will there be snow on the castle, but it will also be snowing down Main Street U.S.A. We are too hype for this!

Can you see the snoap?!

Disney is also bringing back “A Christmas Fantasy Parade,” which features Disney characters, toy soldiers, and dancing gingerbread cookiesPlus, two iconic attraction overlays, “it’s a small world” Holiday and Haunted Mansion Holiday, are confirmed to return. (Haunted Mansion Holiday actually began on August 22nd).

Haunted Mansion Holiday!

This is just scratching the surface of what you can expect to find around the theme parks and hotels. We are so excited to see the holidays come to life in Disneyland, and the snow on the castle is just the start. As always, be sure to keep following AllEars for more Disney news and updates.
