It seems like every week now Disney is announcing a new refurbishment or temporary closure around their resorts.

And now, another one has just been announced, this time over at Disneyland Resort. It’s been announced that the pool deck at Disneyland’s Pixar Place Hotel will be closed for refurbishment with no reopening date.
On the Disneyland website, it now states the following:
Beginning March 3, 2025, the Pixar Place Hotel pool deck will be closed for refurbishment. During this time, Guests can use the pools at the Disneyland Hotel and still enjoy the Pixar Place Hotel pool deck for viewing fireworks on select nights.

This is a fantastic spot to view fireworks from, so we’re relieved to hear that guests can still head up to the deck to check them out, but if you were hoping to go swimming on your upcoming vacation, you’ll have to head over to the Disneyland Hotel.

However, unlike Disney World, Disneyland’s hotels are much closer together, meaning that if you’re craving a jump in the water to have a great time, you don’t have to take any mode of transportation or walk for a long time to get there. Yes, it’s still more inconvenient than being able to just head to the pool deck and hop in, but it’s better than the other alternative, which is not having a pool at all!

At this time, no reopening date has been announced for the hotel pool, but we’ll be sure to keep you updated!
