We know when you’re planning to come to the most magical place on earth, you want to have the most magical vacation ever.

That’s why we came together and pooled our expertise to come up with the best advice to help make it happen. When Disney experts gather, you can bet there’s plenty of debate about the ultimate solution. But in the end, we all agreed on one solid tip for what NOT to do when planning your trip. Want to know what it is? Let’s dive in!
Here at AllEars, we’re dedicated to bringing you the best tips and tricks to make your Disney World trip the best it can be. Nothing makes us happier than hearing about the happy memories they made at such a magical place. But if we could just give one piece of advice on what NOT to do when planning your trip, it’s this: Over planning!

We know that might sound a bit ironic coming from us, but hear us out. There are lots of things you should plan for before your Disney World trip. A great example is securing those advanced dining reservations, as many table-service restaurants fill up quickly and walk-up availability isn’t always guaranteed.

And for those purchasing Lightning Lane Multi Pass, you should definitely reserve your Lightning Lanes either 7 days before your park day, if you’re staying at a Disney World Resort hotel or partner hotel, or 3 days before for all other guests.

And before stepping into the parks, you should definitely plan out what are your or your party’s top priorities. Planning is highly recommended and almost necessary if you want to get the most out of your Disney World trip, but there is such a thing as over planning which can hurt your trip more than it can help it.

Unfortunately, no matter how perfectly you plan, not everything goes exactly how you wish it would. That’s why it’s essential to stay flexible and roll with the punches during your trip. Embracing spontaneity and having a little wiggle room in your schedule can turn unexpected hiccups into opportunities for unexpected magic.

Disney World is called the most magical place on earth for a reason, and no matter what, your trip will be absolutely magical as long as you take a step back and truly enjoy it. Prepare whatever you can ahead of time, but remember it’s all about staying flexible.

We’re always coming up with the best Disney World tips and tricks so stay tuned with us here at AllEars!
