There are tons of restaurants in Disney World, and it can be hard to decide where to go when you’re on vacation.

Not only are there great restaurants located around the Disney World hotels and in Disney Springs, but there are fantastic dining options you can eat at in the parks as well, despite what you may hear many guests saying. If you’re heading to Disney World in 2025, these are some of the best restaurants you can find in the parks with tons of 5 star reviews!
Akershus Royal Banquet Hall (Breakfast) in EPCOT
If you’re looking for a fantastic character dining experience with great food as well, then Akershus Royal Banquet Hall is calling your name! Many guests rave about how many Princesses there are to meet at this location, but you won’t have to suffer through a bad meal to do it.

This restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, but guests especially enjoy breakfast here. The slightly cheaper price is certainly a great bonus, but it’s genuinely a great buffer many guests enjoy. A recent review from an AllEars fan named darcelmargliotti said:
“When we come to WDW we always make a point to make a reservation here. Not really for the character experience but mostly for the great food and service. Love the buffet items along with entrees. Good to feed a toddler rather than pay for a meal they won’t eat. In and out quick. And pic with Belle is a bonus!”
Garden Grill in EPCOT
Another fantastic restaurant in EPCOT we can’t get enough of is Garden Grill, and we’re thrilled that so many AllEars fans feel the same way! Again, the character interaction here is fantastic, but instead of Disney Princesses, you have Chip, Dale, Mickey, and Pluto in their adorable farmer outfits making you smile.

The all-you-can-eat family style meal here is also one to remember, both in our opinion, and in the opinion of readers like this AllEars reader who said:
“Amazing food!!! I still dream about the steak lol! The character interactions are the best at any restaurant and the kids light up! We will be back!”
Columbia Harbour House in Magic Kingdom
One of our absolute favorite dining locations in all of Disney World is actually a quick service location, and that’s Columbia Harbour House! We know, getting seafood dishes at a theme park sounds questionable, but this menu has choices for everyone, and it’s never let us down.

Not only is the food here great, but there’s plenty of indoor seating with AC for hot summer days to keep you cool. During extra busy days, it can still fill up, but most times, especially if you eat at off peak times, you won’t have an issue!
Hollywood Brown Derby in Disney’s Hollywood Studios
One of the more expensive offerings in Hollywood Studios is the Hollywood Brown Derby, but it’s for good reason! This menu is full of AllEars favorites, and many of our readers feel the same way. Getting a reservation here can be a little tough (unless you’re looking to get into the lounge which has basically the same menu!), but we’ve always found it to be worth it.

A recent review from NattyAnn earlier this year perfectly encapsulates our feelings by saying:
“I’ve been here twice now, in 2002 and now in 2024, and oh my, it did not disappoint! We just happened to get a walk up spot, and I’m so happy we did. We got two appetizers, escargot and burrata. Amazing! My son got the chicken. Husband got the steak. I got the salmon. All were perfect! I also had the signature grapefruit martini and my son got a Shirley Temple. Yes, my husband gasped a little when he saw the bill, but then he proclaimed, “Worth it!”
Nomad Lounge in Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Nomad Lounge is a fantastic spot in Animal Kingdom to relax for a spell, grab a bite to eat, and sip on a drink. It’s been a must-do of ours for years, and we’re thrilled to finally see it start getting the love and attention it deserves.

The key word here is relaxing — if that’s what you need a moment to do when spending a busy day in the park, this is the place for you. We think this review by mbolton02 sums it all up pretty nicely:
“One of the best meals I had in Disneyworld while on honeymoon. We shared Tiffins bread service and pineapple-glazed pork belly and they were both delicious. I didn’t expect much from the food in Disney but the food and service blew my mind. A very pleasant surprise”
Flame Tree Barbecue in Animal Kingdom
And finally, we have another classic quick service favorite, which is Flame Tree Barbecue. While this spot doesn’t have any indoor seating, it’s shaded and offers fantastic views of the water and Expedition Everest!

The menu here is relatively expansive and has great options for both picky eaters and more adventurous guests, as explained here by AllEars reader haleymm12:
“i’m a plant-based eater who goes to wdw with a group of non-plant-based eaters and we all enjoy this quick-service spot. getting food there is always easy, the food is always good and the size of the seating area is wonderful which also includes shade and a beautiful view.”

What other restaurant would you add to this list? Tell us in the comments!
First of all, who gives restaurants a 10-star rating? Restaurants are rated on 1 to 5 stars and Michelin only has a 3-star standard. The food at Disney is incredible and I love eating my way through as many options as possible when I’m there. In fact, my family has always planned our activities around our dinner reservations. The only restaurant on your list that I would give 10 stars to is Hollywood Brown Derby. I think you’re missing California Grill, Le Cellier, and Flying Fish to name a few. Of course restaurant choices differ between families. The best advice is to encourage everyone in your party to branch out and be a little adventurous when it comes to exploring Disney’s many food options. Hopefully you can covince the picky eaters in your group to just say no to the standard chicken fingers and burgers because there are so many other great options.
