Reservations for Disney World's NEWEST Restaurant Are FINALLY Available on the Disney World App

The Cake Bake Shop

A perk we’ve been waiting for is finally coming to Disney World’s newest restaurant. Since Cake Bake Shop opened at the BoardWalk last month, reservations for the establishment haven’t been available to book through the Disney World app. However, that has officially changed.

Advance Dining Reservations (ADR) for The Cake Bake Shop by Gwendolyn Rogers are now available to book through My Disney Experience — the Disney World app! Now, you can book through the app and have your plans show up all in one convenient place.

Previously, you could only book reservations on Open Table. Now that Cake Bake Shop is bookable on MDE, it is no longer bookable on Open Table.

Disney describes this new restaurant as featuring “innovative and seasonal cuisine, including elegant favorites and delicious surprises” as guests enjoy “breakfast, brunch, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner, desserts and cocktails in an exquisite atmosphere filled with magic and wonder while you take in views of Crescent Lake.”

There’s also an attached bakery which offers “a whimsical atmosphere that complements the idyllic charm of Disney’s BoardWalk.”

The restaurant was met with some criticism due to high prices when its menu was announced. However, upon opening, we’ve found it to be on par with — if not better than — many other on-property establishments with similar price points.
