However, if you’re a Concierge guest, you may want to start saving a little extra for those tips. Previously, Disney recommended $15.50 per person, per night for gratuities for Concierge stateroom guests, but now that number has increased fairly significantly.
The Disney Cruise Line website now recommends that Concierge guests tip $23.50 USD per night, per guest. This includes gratuity for the assistant stateroom host, who services the Concierge accommodations, and the Concierge Lounge team, as well as your dining room server, dining room assistant server, dining room head server, and stateroom host.

If you don’t get the chance to pre-pay before you board the ship, Disney will automatically charge your onboard guest account the suggested tip amount per guest, per night. Disney notes that the pre-paid gratuities do not include tips for the following services, which are given at your discretion:
Extras added to rotational dining meals such as alcoholic beverages
So this tip change only applies to a portion of Disney Cruise Line guests, but it could make a significant difference in how much you need to save up for your vacation. We’ll keep you in the loop if Disney announces any more changes!
