JUST ANNOUNCED: A NEW Backstage Tour Is Coming to EPCOT in November!

Disney is busy planning for the upcoming holiday season, and if you’re planning a trip to Disney World this winter, you might want to start your planning as well!

Christmas in EPCOT 2023

We might be currently celebrating the Halloween season in the parks, but reservations for the upcoming holiday experiences are slowly starting to become available. Now, Disney just announced a brand new experience coming to EPCOT for the holidays, and reservations open SOON!

Living with the Land is a popular boat ride in The Land pavilion at EPCOT. The second half of the ride takes you through the EPCOT greenhouses, which you can also get a tour of on the Behind the Seeds tour offered year-round.

Over the holidays, the greenhouses get a cute overlay that Disney calls the Glimmering Greenhouses. They decorate the greenhouses for the holidays with cute snowmen, pretty lights, and more!

This year, Disney has announced a new Behind the Seeds tour that will take place November 29th through December 30th — Behind the Seeds: Glimmering Greenhouses!

This new tour will be offered at 6:00 and 7:00 PM, while the regular Behind the Seeds tour will be available during the day. The new holiday tour will give you a chance to see the greenhouses up close at night with all the holiday light displays glowing. Unlike the daily tour, it will be geared more toward holiday information from around the world, such as learning about crops used to “bring festive flavors to many of our holiday traditions.” It will also still feature the hydroponic greenhouses and sustainable growing techniques used around the greenhouses.

Reservations for the new holiday tour go on sale on September 30th! There will be a limited number of spots available, so if you’re interested in this new experience, you’ll want to reserve your spots early.

You can make reservations on the Disney World website or through the My Disney Experience (Disney World) app. You will need a valid theme park ticket to enter EPCOT to do this tour.
