Disney has been in the political news cycles a fair bit over the past few years.
There was a significant period of time where the company was in a battle with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis over legislation passed in the state, which resulted in Disney losing direct control over its Reedy Creek Improvement District. But now, Disney has made national news on the political scene for an entirely different topic.
As you probably know, 2024 is a presidential election year for the United States, which means we’ll be seeing a few debates between candidates before citizens head to the polls. The first major debate between presidential candidates Kamala Harris and Donald Trump will be on the evening of Tuesday, September 10th, and it will be hosted by ABC.
However, a commentator from Fox News is expressing concerns about ABC hosting the debate, predicting that if the debate isn’t presented “fairly” that right-wing viewers may boycott ABC and its parent company Disney.
Fox News host Sean Hannity called ABC-Disney a “woke, left-wing organization” and made comments about some of ABC’s employees on a newscast before turning the conversation to Disney specifically. “Maybe Bob Iger and his left-wing heir apparent, maybe they don’t want half the country to attend their theme parks,” Hannity said. “Maybe they don’t care about their tanking stock price, which is their prerogative.”
“They’re free to make that choice, but if they are biased against Donald Trump, as they have been leading into tomorrow night as their nightly newscast is, half the country is not going to like it one bit,” Hannity added. “They are not going to like ABC-Disney one bit either.”

YES there is a HUGE boycott happening to ABC abd Disney the both will know that lieing doesn’t pay and to think the citizens are dumb is another problem telling the citizens we need control like Obama isn’t going to be good, you can’t put citizens down like they are stupid and can’t take care of themselves.
Their left wing wokeness has already worked SO well for their movies!

The candidates agreed previously knowing what network this debate would be on. This childish behavior needs to end. Let them debate, then form your opinion. I don’t care what side you’re on at all, but the name calling has gotten out of hand. And the blame game, don’t even get me started. Seems like if you don’t like something, you can blame it on the woke and vice versa. I’d rather see some accountability instead of resorting to blaming others. And if you do “blame” others, then back it up with some solid proof. Then I’d consider listening to your argument. And may even change my mind.
I have always loved Disney, and now that I am older, Epcot. One thing that aggravates me about the company is political propaganda. STOP BEING POLITICAL!!! This is an ALL American company that should enfold ALL Americans.
