“This Is a Promising Tearjerker” — Disney Drops New Trailer for ‘Mufasa’

Disney just dropped some massive news about its movie scene. When we say massive, we mean MASSIVE.

D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event is happening now in Anaheim, California and the Entertainment Showcase was jam-packed with announcements. The showcase concluded by releasing a new look at an upcoming movie, Mufasa.

Mufasa, based on the story of The Lion King goes back and time and shows us how Mufasa came to be. Take a look at the new trailer!

The movie is a “live-action” film similar to the 2019 remake of The Lion King. The new movie is set to release in theaters on December 20th, 2024. That’ll be here before we know it! Lin Manuel Miranda wrote the music for the film and showed up at D23.
