The spookiest Halloween event of the season, Disney’s Oogie Boogie Bash, is starting SOON. If you didn’t manage to get tickets, you might be out of luck — this super-popular event is sold out for the season. But, for all you lucky ducks who’ve got a trip to Disney California Adventure coming up this fall, we’ve got some BIG news to share.
This year, Oogie Boogie Bash is happening on 27 nights from August 25th to October 31st! Disneyland Resort’s special Halloween event features all kinds of exclusive (and RARE) entertainment, like the Frightfully Fun Parade, Mickey’s Trick and Treat, trick-or-treating, Villains Grove, and more! But one of the most highly anticipated parts of the event is the RARE villains that make an appearance. Each year, we speculate about who it could be, and now, Disney just dropped a BIG hint about the new characters crashing the party.
Oogie Boogie Bash takes place at Disney California Adventure in Disneyland Resort. On those select party nights, the event begins at 6PM and lasts until 11PM. We recommend checking out the Frightfully Fun Parade Parade, which features all kinds of characters, like the Headless Horseman, the Evil Stepsisters, Lady Tremaine, the Red Queen, Captain Hook, Judge Frollo, Jafar, Ursula, and more.
Plus, those Immersive Treat Trails are a HUGE draw. This is where you might find rare villains, like Agatha Harkness…
…Ernesto de la Cruz…
…or even Mother Gothel! Disney loves to mix it up and surprise us — each year brings new faces to the park.
Well, the 2024 party is right around the corner, so who’s attending the event this year? We have our first clue! Disney dropped a mysterious new teaser, and we have some strong predictions to share. First, watch the video below, and tell us your thoughts on what’s behind the cart? (And WHO is pushing the cart?!)
OK, WOW. We have so many thoughts. First of all, can we all agree that there’s a strong possibility that Hades is attending the party this year? That vase looks awfully familiar, right?
Who knows! Maybe we’ll see The Fates this year? Either way, all evidence is pointing towards a Hercules-themed treat trail stop!
But wait! We’ve got one more villain to talk about. If you watched closely, you might have noticed the shadow of a fedora hat behind a console. That’s not any old fedora — that looks like Agent P’s signature hat! Could this mean Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz (from Disney Channel’s hit Phineas and Ferb show) is coming to Oogie Boogie Bash? WE HOPE SO!
