There’s a SPOOKY new perk at Disneyland!

Believe it or not, the Halloween season is almost here! For those visiting the Disneyland Resort, that means it’s nearly time for the annual Halloween Time celebration, Oogie Boogie Bash — if you were able to get in that is — and MERCH! This year, certain Disneyland guests can gain access to the highly in-demand Halloween merchandise even earlier!

As announced on the official Disneyland Magic Key Instagram page, the resort’s Magic Key Holders will have special early access to items from the 2024 Halloween collection. 

The post reads, “It’s time to gear up for the Halloween season! ? Starting July 27, 2024 and while supplies last, Magic Key holders can be among the first to purchase select pre-sale merchandise from the upcoming Mickey Mouse Family Halloween Collection. Select items are available to buy and pick up on the same day at World of Disney in Downtown Disney District when purchasing through the mobile order service in the Disneyland app.” Along with the caption, the account posted images of numerous Halloween items including a candy corn spirt jersey…

…a candy corn Loungefly backpack and a spooky hoodie…

…corresponding candy corn ears…

…and a spooky tee featuring Disney characters in their Halloween best.

HURRY! A NEW Halloween Disney Collection (Including Loungeflys) Has Dropped Online

The early access to merchandise is just the latest perk available to Disneyland Magic Key Holders. Others include:

• Magic Key holder special experiences, at select times during the year
• Special keepsakes designed for Magic Key holders
• Early access to a limited number of presale tickets for select events
• Magic Key Disney PhotoPass opportunities featuring special photo locations and more
• Merchandise, Dining and Special Discounts
• Access to Magic Key terrace, a dining location designed for Magic Key holders and their Guests
• Magic Key-themed merchandise and food & beverage novelties
• Menu items crafted for Magic Key holders
• Savings on Disneyland Resort hotel stays from time to time
• Discounts at participating locations at the Downtown Disney District

If that all seems appealing to you, well we have bad news. Currently, Disney has put a pause on sales of Magic Keys. According to the company, “Please note that we have paused new sales of Magic Key passes. At this time, current Magic Key holders may have the opportunity during their renewal window (currently up to 30 days prior to the pass expiration date) to renew into a pass made available within the program. The quantity of passes and pass types available for renewal may be limited. Passes or a pass type may be unavailable from time to time or at any given time or available only for renewal.”
