Why You’ll Want to AVOID Disney World in June for the Next 2 Years

It’s not uncommon to see large groups of families, school groups, or extracurricular academies in Disney World, especially during spring break and throughout the summer.

If you’re not a fan of seeing tons of these groups around the parks, which can seriosuly bump up wait times and crowds in the parks, there are times you can head to Disney World to avoid this type of problem. If you need an example, we’re here to warn you that this ONE month is NOT when you want to be in Disney World for the next two years!

Disney World and Ripken Baseball, the leader in youth baseball, have partnered up to “host premier youth baseball experiences at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in the summers of 2025 and 2026, involving four week-long tournaments each year.”

The tournaments will be for ages 10U through 16U and will take place across 11 fields at ESPN Wide World of Sports. Teams participating will also experience magical experiences on Disney World property, including an opening ceremony and leisure time to explore all the theme parks have to offer.

So, when can we expect this massive event to take place? The tournaments for 2025 will take place:

June 8th-13th, 2025
June 15th-20th, 2025
June 22nd-27th, 2025
July 6th-11th, 2025

2026 dates have not been announced at this time, but it’s safe to assume they’ll likely be around the same time period. Crowds during these weeks will likely be higher than other summer weeks, especially on the weekends, when some teams may decide to stay longer to explore the parks more thoroughly.
