A Popular Hotel Gift Shop at Disney World Is Now Closed Indefinitely

We’ll be honest. One of our favorite things to do at Disney World has nothing to do with rides or food and EVERYTHING to do with the merchandise shops.

Disney World merchandise!

We just can’t resist a classic Disney World shopping spree. From T-shirts and sweatshirts to plushes and pins, we always find ourselves whipping out our wallets at some point. If you’re like us and also like to hit up all the Disney World shops, you’re gonna want to listen up!

One of our favorite merchandise shops is now CLOSED. If you’ve ventured over to Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort, then there’s a good chance you’ve visited the M. Mouse Mercantile gift shop on the second floor. It’s the one over to the right when you enter the hotel from the Monorail.

Well, ladies and gentlemen, M. Mouse Mercantile is now CLOSED.

It’s closed!

Cast Members confirmed that the shop would be closed for the foreseeable future, and that they weren’t yet sure when the shop will reopen.

In the meantime, the merchandise collections will be split between Curiouser Clothes and Sandy Cove Sundries on the first floor.

The good news is that you can still do all your shopping. The bad news is that it just won’t be located in its normal spot!

We’re at Disney World every single day, so we’ll be sure to keep you updated on any and all Disney news. Make sure to follow along so that you’re always in the loop and never miss a thing.
