We may barely be into 2024, but believe it or not — it’s already time to start thinking about booking your 2025 Disney World vacation!
Hotel and ticket bookings opened on February 27th, allowing folks to start planning and budgeting out their 2025 trips. But, along with those open bookings have come the dreaded Disney World price increases, and we’ve got all the important details you need to know.
We’ve got good news and bad news — the good news is that you can now book your 2025 Disney World vacation! Hotels, tickets, and packages are now available on the Disney World website. The bad news, though, is that these new bookings have come at a cost — price increases.
That’s right — the price of Disney World park tickets has increased, again. Prior to the price increases, a single, Standard Theme Park Ticket ranged from $109 to $189, and Park Hopper Add-on Options were the following:
- $65 per ticket for 1-day tickets
- $75 per ticket for 2 to 3-day tickets
- $85 per ticket for 4 to 10-day tickets
The starting price for a 1-day ticket has now increased from $109 to $119. In 2025, the high end of that is $169 for EPCOT (increase), $159 for Animal Kingdom (no change), $179 for Hollywood Studios (increase), and $184 for Magic Kingdom (increase).
Pricing for Animal Kingdom has remained the same, with the high end of single-day ticket pricing at $159. Where there has been an increase, though, is on single-day tickets for Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Magic Kingdom, and EPCOT. This is the first time we’ve seen the starting price of Disney World tickets increase in quite a while.
Keep in mind that Disney World ticket prices are subject to demand, meaning the price goes up on days Disney expects the parks to be busy (like holidays and special events). There are some days that didn’t change at all or even decreased, like at the beginning of January.
We’ve seen the lowest prices pop up in August and September so far, where you can see a few of those $119 days.
On the other hand, though, ticket prices for the entire month of March increased or remained the same, so it sounds like Disney is anticipating a busy month next year. And, for 2025 more days in the month fall into the most expensive ticket category.
It appears as though Park-Hopper tickets have also gotten more expensive for 2025. Park-Hopper tickets are also subject to surge pricing, but using March 19th as an example, Animal Kingdom is $159 for 2024 and 2025, so the same starting price. But, when looking at Park-Hopper tickets you’d pay $244 regular/$264 plus in 2024, but $248 regular/$268 plus in 2025.
These may seem like insignificant increases, but they can really add up quickly when planning a trip! It’s also important to note that Disney has only released prices and reservations through October 2025, so we’ll still have to wait and see just how expensive November and December (historically two of the highest priced months) will be.
