NEWS: Low-Fare Airline Breeze Airways Seeks to Fly International

According to Reuters, Breeze Airways, a popular low-cost airline here in the United States, is taking early steps to expand internationally. The airline is seeking “flag carrier approval from the Federal Aviation Administration that would eventually allow it to take advantage of ‘peak of the season’ travel to destinations like Ireland.

Breeze Airways was launched in 2021 with small 137-seat planes, takes advantage of cuts to regional routes by larger airlines, and serves secondary U.S. cities that don’t have direct service from larger carriers.
