One of the best parts of going to Disney World is spending time with friends and family, right? Sure, the single-rider line may get you onto Expedition Everest a little faster, but some rides are just more fun to ride with others! What can we say — it’s not always easy, but it can be a lot of fun to visit the parks with a group!

While we love traveling to Disney World with other friends and families outside of our immediate party, it’s not always easy to connect on My Disney Experience. But now, Disney just released a NEW way to connect with friends and family on the My Disney Experience website.
With the latest My Disney Experience update, linking with friends and family just got a little easier! Starting now, you can add other people to your Family & Friends list on the My Disney Experience website with a new search feature. Then, once those accounts are linked, you can share Genie+ reservations and Individual Attraction Selections, see each other’s PhotoPass photos, dining reservations, and more!

If you want to link with others, first visit the My Disney Experience website, hover over the My Disney Experience logo in the top corner of the screen, then click “My Family & Friends.” Once you’re on “My Family & Friends List,” click “Add Guest.” From there, a new search feature will appear, and you can look up a guest with first and last name and phone number or email.Â

Make sure you and the person you want to connect with are “searchable” by clicking “Allow” in the purple box. Oh, and if you scroll down, Disney even has a new “Guests you may know” section with suggestions based on the people already in your Family & Friends list!

Yep, it’s that simple! Now, you’ve got a new way to connect with others. We’re always on the lookout for the latest Disney news, so stay tuned for more!
