Even if you’ve been to EPCOT 100 times, there is still probably something you haven’t done!

The Disney World theme parks are constantly changing with new attractions, seasonal updates, and new menu items. With so many hidden gems, you can go to Disney World all of the time as a local or Annual Passholder and still have new places to explore. That’s why we wanted to point out this one spot in EPCOT that we bet most of you have never been to!
EPCOT is an especially great theme park to find nooks and crannies to relax in — each World Showcase pavilion has some area like this. That includes the gardens behind Katsura Grill in Japan, the special exhibits in China, and the back area of Morocco.

But one spot that most people overlook is actually over in The Land pavilion. We’re talking about Awesome Planet!

The Land Pavilion is full of rides like Soarin’ and Living With the Land and restaurants like Garden Grill and Sunshine Seasons. With all of these exciting things in the pavilion, Awesome Planet often gets overlooked.

Awesome Planet is a 10-minute film that features clips of nature from around the world. The theater uses special effects including wind, water, and scents — it’s an immersive experience!

We get it — Soarin’ is right nearby, but this spot never has a wait! It’s another spot to sit down in the air conditioning and be entertained at the same time.

And let’s face it, sometimes these shows are an awesome opportunity to take a quick power nap! Imagine coming in here on an afternoon after a long morning in the parks and getting a couple of minutes to close your eyes.

This show is gorgeous so we do recommend actually watching it at some point, but since there is rarely a line, it’s easy to do several times.

So if you’ve never been inside Awesome Planet, check it out on your next visit to EPCOT! Keep following AllEars for more Disney World tips.

I went on my last trip and was BLOWN AWAY. Wish the documentary was available to view at home (obviously without all the effects) as it has a great conservation message too.
Just went two weeks ago!
I’ve been! Went for the first time last weekend!
