McDonald’s Has a New Halloween McFlurry — But There’s a Catch

If you’re ready to get in the spirit of the spooky season, there’s a new menu item at select McDonald’s locations that you might want to check out!

As if the return of the iconic Boo Buckets wasn’t enough to celebrate, McDonald’s has also rolled out a special McFlurry flavor in honor of the Halloween season. But before you start planning your next snack run, beware, it won’t be available everywhere…

Just in time for Halloween, McDonald’s has released the new Trick ‘N Treat McFlurry. This limited-edition version of the popular dessert is made with vanilla soft serve, swirled with hot fudge and crushed orange Smarties (candy-coated chocolates).

But before you get your heart set on trying this new McFlurry, heads up — the Trick ‘N Treat McFlurry is only available at McDonald’s locations in Canada.

If you are located in Canada and want to give this spooky new treat a try, be sure to act fast — it will only be around for a limited time!

    1. Hi Chris! These Smarties exist in Canada, which is where this McFlurry is. They are different than what we call Smarties in the U.S., but they are indeed called Smarties and are candy coated chocolates. They’re delicious!
