Sneak Peek at an Iconic Part of the NEW Disney Treasure Cruise Ship

Ahoy, shipmates! 2024 is going to be a big year for the Disney Cruise Line and we just got another major update.

If you haven’t heard, the Disney Cruise Line will see a lot of new things next year. Lighthouse Point, located on the private Island of Eleuthera in the Bahamas, will welcome guests for the first time in the summer of 2024. Also, a NEW ship will debut –the Disney Treasure. Today, Disney shared an exciting new detail that we can expect to see when the ship sets sail — come take a look!

For 25 years, the stern of each of Disney’s cruise ships has been adorned with different characters from Disney’s stories. Now, we know what will be on the Disney Treasure! Disney shared an artist rendering of the sculptures that will be featured on this ship. In alignment with the ship’s theme of adventure, Peter Pan and Captain Hook will grace the front.

On one side, Peter Pan flies next to the Treasure with a paintbrush and paint bucket in hand, adding the yellow finishing touches to the ship’s filigree. On the other side, Hook leans out of a porthole, angrily, covered in yellow paint.

This ship has been making quite a bit of progress lately. Recently, Disney shared a look at the construction.
