runDisney Reveals Themes for NEW Holiday Races

What better way to celebrate the holiday season than with RUNNING?!

Okay, we know, a bunch of you probably just groaned out loud. But runDisney fans everywhere are probably pumped for the virtual Christmas-themed races this year. And now, we’ve got details to share about these events!

This year, runDisney is starting the 12Ks of Christmas virtual race series! Disney says, “This first of its kind virtual event provides a perfect opportunity for families and friends to get into the spirit of the season with a little Disney holiday magic — wherever you enjoy running!” And if you’ve been curious about the themes for these races, we’re here with some news.

The races are made up of three virtual 4Ks. The three themes are:

Mickey, Donald, & Goofy
Minnie Mouse & Daisy
Pluto

Registration for these races opens on July 25th at 10AM ET. You’ll need to complete all three races during the month of December. Registration costs $267 per person and includes the following:

Three 4K Virtual Races on Courses of Your Choosing
Participant Long-Sleeved Hooded Shirt
Holiday CORKCICLE™ Mug and Hot Cocoa Kit
4 Commemorative Finisher Medals That Double as Christmas Ornaments
Digital Race Bib and Finisher Certificates
