Who’s ready for another construction update?
There is loads of construction happening all over Disney World right now — a new restaurant is coming to EPCOT (as well as new attractions), a new bakery is coming to Disney’s BoardWalk, and so much more. We checked in on the latest Disney Springs project to give you an update — let’s check it out!
Summer House on the Lake is a new restaurant that was announced to be coming to Disney Springs last year. It’s expected to open in late 2023.
We know that it’ll be a “California-inspired menu, led by Chef Ben Goodnick,” featuring “simple ingredients sourced from local grower partnerships and sustainable products.”
We’re starting to see the shape of the building really come together, and we know it’s going to be taaaaaall.
There’s a lot of scaffolding around the roof right now to keep construction workers safe as they bring the building to life.
There’s also a blue tarp around part of the building as well.
