Disney World has had a LOT of construction going on these past few months.
Multiple projects are underway in EPCOT, we’ve got some hints that a popular ride could change in Hollywood Studios, and some Disney World hotels are undergoing some construction as well. We’re happy to report that a pathway from a popular resort to Magic Kingdom has finally reopened!
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is a popular deluxe resort located minutes away from Magic Kingdom. You can take the Monorail, a Disney bus, or your own car over to the park, but you can also walk.
However, for the past few months, the pathway to Magic Kingdom from the resort has been closed due to construction around the resort. Now, it’s finally reopened!
This means you can choose to take a leisurely stroll to and from the resort, which then means you don’t have to wait in line for the Monorail, buses, or other transportation.
However, with the heat of summer already here, keep in mind that walking to the park may feel like a great idea, but after walking around in the parks all day, you may choose to take another mode of transportation back.
