Disney World is Seriously Tempting Us to Visit an Underrated Attraction

If there’s something that Disney World knows how to do…it’s celebrate!

There are constant reasons to celebrate in the parks, from major anniversaries to holidays. Not to mention the fact that many people come to Disney World to celebrate their own achievements, like birthdays, graduations, or honeymoons. But on top of all those reasons to get excited, we’ve got another one to add to the list!

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park is celebrating recently because there has been a NEW addition! Earlier this month, a yellow-backed duiker calf was born and named Penny. Check out the announcement on Instagram!

Penny was born to mother Pearl, and was the first yellow-backed duiker calf to be born at Animal Kingdom in over 20 years. Both mom and baby are being cared for backstage, but they’ll be out and about on the Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail later this summer.
