We Found Mickey Waffles in a SURPRISING New Location!

Did you really go to Disney World if you didn’t have a Mickey Waffle?

Now, you can make your own Mickey Waffles (…well, sort of) at home when you’re not in Disney, but nothing beats an actual Mickey Waffle on Disney property. Some of those spots can get really crowded or you have to pay a ton of money to eat at a buffet or character meal. But what if we told you there’s a secret place you can make your OWN Mickey waffles?

The Drury Plaza Hotel is located in Disney Springs and is one of the newest Disney World hotels. The hotel began taking reservations last year but didn’t officially open until later.

We recently got the opportunity to head to the Drury Plaza Hotel for breakfast, which is complimentary to hotel guests. The dining area is quite large with plenty of room to spread out while you and your family gear up for a busy park day.

We found the usual breakfast options — pancakes, eggs, sausage, etc. — but then something took us by surprise.

We spotted Mickey Waffles! There are multiple waffle machines available at breakfast, but only two of the machines are Mickey-shaped (there’s one on each side of the dining area). These work like any other waffle maker — you pour your batter into the mold and cook it yourself.

We were also told that these machines are new! They’ve just been added in the last couple of days, even though the hotel has been partially open since December.

Also, as a little hint — these waffles are HUGE! So if you’re looking for some Mickey Waffles that are really worth their price (which in this case is FREE with a hotel stay), this is a great place to look. As always, stay tuned to AllEars for all the latest Disney news!
