We are sad to report the passing of actor Barry Humphries.

The New York Times announced on April 22nd that the Australian-born actor and comedian passed away at the age of 89 after being in the hospital for some health issues.
Barry Humphries created the iconic persona Mrs. Norm Everage (now known as Dame Edna) back in 1955 and performed all over the world.

Although most famous for his persona called Dame Edna, Humphries had some ties to Disney. He was the voice actor for the role of Bruce in Finding Nemo.

Humphries was in a number of other TV shows and movies including The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey.
Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with Barry Humphries’ family at this time.
