You Can Do Something NEW With Your Wand at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter

If you’ve visited Universal Orlando, you’ve probably visited The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Maybe you’ve even been the chosen one at Ollivander’s and had a wand choose you. Perhaps you’ve bought an interactive wand that lets you do your own magic throughout the Wizarding World. Well, now, there’s something else you can do with your wand!

Universal has introduced wand engraving. Yes, that means you can get your name (or even your favorite Harry Potter character’s name) engraved on a wand you’ve bought for an additional $30.

This service is currently offered at Ollivander’s Wand Shop in Diagon Alley and Dervish and Banges in Hogsmeade. Here’s what to do: purchase a wand and ask for the additional engraving option. You’ll tell a staff member what you want on your wand and you’ll then be given a time and location to pick it back up later.

Note that we were told it’s best to come earlier in the day because the engraving does take time and they may not take engraving orders later in the evening. This is a fun way to further personalize a souvenir from The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, but this would also make a great gift for that Harry Potter fan in your life.
