A NEW (And RARE!) Disney Character Meet and Greet Is Coming SOON

March 19th is a BIG day for Disneyland fans.

Toontown will reopen to guests on Sunday, March 19th for the first time since March 2022. Here, guests will be able to see this iconic land completely reimagined with new features, including a brand-new play area. Of course, several fan-favorite aspects of the original Toontown will be returning, such as meet-and-greets with Mickey, Minnie, and the rest of the gang. However, a new character will be joining them for the first time in ANY Disney park! Can you guess who it is?

Pete the Cat will join Mickey and friends for meet-and-greet experiences in Disneyland’s reimagined Toontown, beginning March 19th!

Disney announced that this was the first time that guests have ever been able to meet Pete in any Disney park.

Disney also shared this TikTok that shows Pete and Goofy interacting in Toontown. It seems that Pete won’t be causing any mischief, but no promises…

We can’t see what else is to come with the reopening of Disneyland’s Toontown! Of course, we’ve already gotten to experience the all-new Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway as well as its accompanying shop — EnginEAR Souvenirs. We can only imagine what else is in store!
