BIG changes are coming to Downtown Disney at Disneyland Resort.
Just this year, a restaurant permanently closed, another restaurant closed for refurbishment (and has since partially reopened), and we got news about MORE changes coming in the future. But now we’ve got a massive update about a beloved restaurant that is making a comeback!
According to Scott Gustin on Twitter, Earl of Sandwich will be opening at Downtown Disney on February 1st. It will be located in the former location of La Brea Bakery.
We already knew Earl of Sandwich would be coming back to Downtown Disney in this spot at some point in February, but now we’ve got the opening date!
Gustin has reported that the restaurant will open at 11AM on Wednesday and Thursday, but will then open at its more regularly scheduled 8AM time on Friday.
Keep in mind, this will NOT be a permanent spot for Earl of Sandwich. Instead, Porto’s Bakery will be designed and built where La Brea Bakery was. But, for now, this spot will serve as the home to the Earl of Sandwich pop-up shop.
