5 Top Eats at Festival of Holidays in Disney California Adventure

It’s the holiday season and the Disney Parks are celebrating big time.

Festival of the Holidays

Disney World kicked off Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and festive treats are popping up in the parks. Over in Disneyland, there are plenty of holiday treats to try thanks to the Festival of Holidays which runs from November 11th to January 8th! So what should you eat at the Disneyland festival this year? Here are our top 5 picks!

At the Merry Mashups booth, we’re starting off this list strong with the Esquites Carnitas Mac & Cheese featuring Oaxaca and Cotija cheeses with spiced puffed rice! This is a returning dish to the festival and it’s a super flavorful (but not overpowering) snack. We thought the serving was also large especially for the $8 price tag.

Is it really a surprise that there are two cheesy items on our list? We also picked the Impossible Chorizo Queso Fundido at the Brews & Bites booth for our top eats of the fest! The queso had a bit of a kick to it and you really can’t tell that the chorizo is not real meat. You can try it yourself for $7.50.

Moving on to a sweet treat, we tried the Pumpkin Layered Cheesecake at the Grandma’s Recipes booth. For $7 you get Layers of New York-style Cheesecake, Pumpkin Gooey Cake, and Graham Cracker, topped with Spiced Chantilly and a Chocolate Decoration. This treat was super creamy and a fun take on a pumpkin pie. Yum!

The Winter Sliderland booth is home to the incredible Holiday Ham Slider! This slider is $9 and is topped with Ham, Cranberry-Bacon Jam, and Gruyere on a Salt & Pepper Brioche Bun. This slider has a huge portion of ham on top and we thought all of the flavors complimented each other very well!

Last but not least, there’s the Santa’s Milk & Cookies Hot Cocoa from both the Making Spirits Bright and Treats for Santa booths! It’s not the holiday season without a little hot cocoa, right? This drink is made with Whole Milk with flavors Cookies & Cream and White Chocolate, topped with Whipped Cream and WOW, it is delicious. This is a unique take on hot cocoa and it was one of our favorite drinks from the entire festival. Try it for $6.50!
