The D23 Expo has begun!
We’re here to bring you all the latest news, updates, and more, and now we’ve got an announcement about a new expansion coming to Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure!
During the Disney Legends Ceremony at the Expo, Disney CEO Bob Chapek announced that Avengers Campus will be expanding to include the multiverse, which is something we’ve been seeing in recent Marvel movies and television shows.
As part of the expansion, Avengers Campus will be getting a brand new attraction that will “bring guests into battle alongside their favorite Super Heroes.”
Chapek did not share much about the new attraction but said that those who are attending Josh D’Amaro’s Hall D23 presentation on Sunday about new things coming to the Disney parks will be getting more information about the Avengers Campus expansion.
We knew that another attraction would be coming to Avengers Campus eventually, as Disney had laid that out in its previous plans, but we hadn’t heard about that other attraction in a long time. Previously, Disney had announced that this second e-ticket attraction would be a Quinjet-based ride that would transport guests to Wakanda. It’s not clear at this time if this is the same attraction Chapek referenced or if it’s a different attraction altogether.
